The City’s Special Event Support Program (SESP) was approved by the City Council in June 2022 and offers a subsidy toward City services for City organized events and events associated with major recognized holidays within the City. The SESP accepts applications once per year and eligible events will be recommended to City Council to receive the subsidy each Spring.

Application Deadline
Any eligible event requesting support for FY 25-26 must submit a completed application by the deadline of Friday, March 21, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. to be considered for support. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Applications will be accepted in three ways:
- Online: use the digital form on this webpage
- Email: submit the completed application and backup documentation via email to [email protected]
- In-person/mail: deliver the completed application and backup documentation to City of Oxnard, Attn: Samantha Shapiro 300 W. Third St, 4th Floor, Oxnard, CA 93030 (*please note: applications must be received by the deadline to be accepted).
