Project Assist

The City of Oxnard City Council has approved funding of $25 per residential utility billing customer for qualified participants for the “Project Assist” utility rate assistance program. Existing and new participants must re-apply or apply to the program by completing the FY 2024-2025 application. Funds are limited and acceptance to the program will be awarded on a first come, first-served basis. Applications received and approved by the 15th of the month will reflect the discount on the next billing cycle. The $25 discount will be applied to each month thereafter until the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2025.

To be considered for this benefit you must submit a completed application and provide proof of enrollment to Southern California Edison (SCE) or SoCalGas (SCG) California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) program. All documents must be under the applicant’s name and the residence must be a primary address. Only single family residential homes are eligible for the discount. The program is for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 (July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025). You must notify Oxnard’s Utility Billing within 30 days if you move or if there is a change in income.
