Administrative Services Bureau

Responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the largest General Fund operating budget in the City of Oxnard.

Responsible for maintaining all information, recorded documents and evidence retained under the control of the Police Department.  It also includes the Word Processing unit and Animal Licensing.

Responsible for a variety of administrative duties including, training, recruiting, hiring, facility maintenance, promotional processes, internal affairs, audits, statistics, concealed weapons permits, and Department ceremonies.

Answers all of the 911 calls for the City of Oxnard. This includes residential, business and wireless callers. They also handle the non-emergency and emergency 7-digit phone lines, Animal Control, traffic enforcement, Code Compliance and internal phone lines.
