Project Overview
The Citywide Neighborhood Street Resurfacing Project, Phase I is part of Oxnard’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to improve residential roads. It aligns with the five-phase Citywide Pavement Management Program approved by the City Council on April 2, 2024. This phase focuses on streets in the Cabrillo, Sea Air, El Rio West, Rose Park, Pleasant Valley, and Southwinds neighborhoods, where pavement conditions are poor (PCI 30-40). The project will use mill-and-overlay asphalt paving for heavily deteriorated roads and slurry seals for less damaged areas to extend their lifespan.
Current Project Phase – Construction
Construction is estimated to start in May of this year.
