Project Overview
The existing playground equipment at College Estates Park has reached the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement. The new playground equipment and engineered wood fiber surface will help enhance the amenities at the park and enhance the safety of children using the playground equipment.
The specific work for this Project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work to remove and dispose of existing playground equipment and replace it with a new playground system and engineered wood fiber safety surfacing.
Current Project Phase – Construction
Design has been completed and construction has started. The new playground equipment was delivered on March 21st, 2025. A temporary fence surrounding the construction site was installed on March 24th, 2025 and demolition of the old equipment started on March 26th, 2025.
