Project Overview
The existing playground equipment at Fremont Tot Park has reached the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement. The new playground equipment and engineered wood fiber surface will help enhance the amenities at the park and enhance the safety of children using the playground equipment.
The specific work for this Project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work to remove and dispose of existing playground equipment and replace it with a new playground system and engineered wood fiber safety surfacing.
Current Project Phase – Design
April 1, 2025 Update
Storage containers were delivered. Playground equipment delivery expected by end of week, with temporary fencing and demolition to follow.
December 2nd, 2024 Update
Design is completed. This item is on the agenda for the City Council Meeting scheduled for 12/17/2024. Once council approves we can officially award the contract and issue an NTP to begin construction efforts. Construction to start in early 2025.
