Project Overview
This project aims to enhance transportation infrastructure in the La Colonia neighborhood by resurfacing several streets and constructing new sidewalks and curb ramps. These improvements will provide safer, smoother road conditions for vehicles and improved pedestrian access, particularly for individuals with mobility challenges. By addressing both roadway conditions and pedestrian infrastructure, the project will enhance overall mobility, safety, and accessibility within the neighborhood.
This project will be a combination of three projects in the City’s Capital Improvement Program. These are:
- Ramona Preschool Pedestrian Crossing Enhancements (Page 118)
- Safe Routes to School Safety and Enhancements (Page 121)
- Neighborhood Street Resurfacing (Page 114)
