Project Overview
The new South Oxnard Aquatics Center will consist of a 6-lane lesson pool, 30 meter pool for competitive swimming, splash pad, fun water pool with zero beach and lazy river, a double slide, and bleacher seating. There is an administrative office, lifeguard office, first aid room, training room, multi-use space, concessions, locker rooms, equipment and program, storage, as well as the required mechanical and chemical storage room.
Current Phase – Design
Project design is at 90% complete. The permitting & entitlement is on-hold until further notice.
Community Engagement & Outreach
The City of Oxnard is building the South Oxnard Aquatics Center in the currently vacant City-owned property adjacent to College Park (3250 S. Rose Ave, Oxnard).
