Fire Station 6 is located on Channel Islands Harbor; so it makes sense for this station to specialize in any training that pertains to the ocean. Ocean Rescue 66 is cross staffed by the members of Engine 66. Shipboard firefighting and boat fires are additional disciplines that Station 6 personnel have to focus on due to the hazards that exist in their response area. Located outside of station 6 is a bike repair station. Engine 66 is the only four person engine company in the city; this is because additional personnel that are needed to be an effective ocean rescue team.
