REMINDER: Interested in Running for Oxnard City Council in November? Don’t Miss Educational Workshop on July 5
Oxnard, California – The Oxnard City Clerk’s office will hold an educational session on Thursday, July 5 for residents interested in running for City Council seats within Districts 1, 2, 5 and 6 in the November 2018 election. It will be held at 6 p.m. Hueneme High School, 500 W. Bard Rd., Oxnard.
The session is an opportunity for anyone who may have thought about running for City Council but didn’t know what to expect or how to go about it, to get more information and ask questions.
Can’t make the educational session? Don’t worry. Another one is scheduled for:
- Thursday, July 12, at 6 p.m. – Oxnard Performing Arts Center (Thousand Oaks Room), 800 Hobson Way, Oxnard
A previous session has been video-recorded and posted on the City’s website at www.Oxnard.org.

Oxnard, California – La oficina de la Secretaria Municipal de Oxnard llevará a cabo una sesión educativa para los residentes interesados en postularse para los escaños del Concejo Municipal dentro de los distritos 1, 2, 5 y 6 en las elecciones del 2018 de noviembre el jueves 5 de julio. Se llevará a cabo a las 6 p.m. en la escuela secundaria Hueneme (cafetería), 500 W. Bard Rd. en Oxnard.
La sesión es una oportunidad para cualquiera que haya pensado en postularse para el Concejo Municipal pero no sabía qué esperar o cómo hacerlo, para obtener más información y hacer preguntas.
