Oxnard, CA – The City’s Cultural Arts Commission is announcing the rollout of the 2019-2020 Arts in Public Places (AIPP) Cultural Arts Grant Process with the release of the annual request for proposals (RFP) in the summer of 2019.
The previous release date of May 6, 2019, is being postponed; with the updated RFP dates to be announced.
The grant committee will be accepting applications from Oxnard-based artists and nonprofit arts organizations during the announced application period.
All applicants are required to attend a mandatory meeting at Oxnard Performing Arts and Convention Center (PACC, 800 Hobson Way, Oxnard) to receive an overview of the grants process.
Workshop dates to be announced.
The following workshop dates will be postponed.
- Saturday, May 11, 2019- 10 a.m.
- Saturday, May 18, 2019- 10 a.m., 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25, 2019- 10 a.m.
Submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel of distinguished arts advocates and artists. The Commission is currently seeking Arts professionals of varying disciplines for this purpose.
