Ventura County Modifies Rules for Businesses


Late Monday, April 20, Ventura County officials updated its latest public health order to align with the State Order issued by Governor Gavin Newsom. It rescinded the information regarding businesses with 10 or fewer employees being allowed to reopen with restrictions.

Per the latest order:

  • Only businesses deemed essential are allowed to operate
  • Home-based businesses may operate as long as individuals are working solely in their own homes
  • Public and private golf courses may reopen with restrictions
  • Bike shops and auto dealerships may perform sales in person with social distancing measures
