Vote Today – May 1, 2018 – Special Election
Oxnard, California – Oxnard City Clerk Michelle Ascencion is reminding voters to go vote today, May 1, 2018, in the Oxnard Special Election. Polls are open today from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. All registered voters are encouraged to participate in this historic election.
To find your assigned polling place, the following options are available:
- Check the back of your Voter Information Guide (the red box near the top shows the polling place specific to you).
- Log on to the City Clerk’s election website at https://www.oxnard.org/city-department/city-clerk/2018-recall/ and click on the interactive map to enter your address, or
- Call the Office of the City Clerk at 805-385-7803 for assistance.
In addition to voting at the polls, those who have received a Vote By Mail ballot can drop it off at any polling place or at the City Clerk’s office (300 W. Third Street, 4th Floor). If you mail your ballot, it MUST be postmarked by May 1, and received in the City Clerk’s office by Friday, May 4. Remember to sign the back of your ballot envelope!
