About Signage in Oxnard
The City of Oxnard created a sign program to ensure signage throughout the City adapts to the architecture and site design while providing the benefits of a coordinated, proportional approach to advertising exposure. The program helps enhance the image of a business and helps meet the aesthetic value of the surrounding location.
Each sign program contains various descriptive information such as; letters of approval, conditions, notes and visual representations. This is used to describe the location, type, size, layout, design, size, color, and letter/font styles of the signs
The sign programs below have been approved by the Planning Division and provide information to aid in signage design proposals.
These documents should not be used as the plans or exhibits within a building permit application.
