Programs
Whether you want to build bones, improve your balance and strength, or just make some new friends while exercising, this is the place for you!
Our 1-hour classes meet 2-3 times weekly in community locations. Participants move at their own speed, deciding how much weight they can lift and when to increase it. Weights are provided in class.
Instructors Needed: We are always looking for new volunteer instructors. Our 7-hour instructor training is offered quarterly. To participate as an instructor, you must be age 55 and willing to volunteer to lead classes at least twice a week.
For more information about Bone Builders, please call (805) 385-8019 or email [email protected].
You may not be a kid anymore, but that doesn’t mean you can’t go on a field trip for some laughter, excitement, exploration, social bonding, and making new friends.
Many great options exist and outcomes happen when you have a small group of people to share an experience with. For singles especially, getting out of the house is an important part of finding potential partners. You might meet someone doing a shared activity you both enjoy or you could plan fun outings.
Excursions are currently full, call 805-385-8019 if you would like to join the waitlist.
Stay tuned for our next Senior Excursions issue.

When you think healthy, do you think about being active, outside, doing things with friends? We do! So, we’ve created a new program bringing our kind of fun, active life to you. With Seniors in Motion (SIM), you can expect to see lunch gatherings, opportunities to make new friends or try new things, exercises in a park, and an occasional special activity.
And we want to hear the types of activities you’d like us to organize in the future. An outdoor game day? Chess in the park? Cornhole? Badminton?
Contact Alma Gonzalez, program lead, at (805) 832-2380 or [email protected].
