Residential customers receive solid waste (trash), recycling and food waste and organics recycling service. All three residential carts are emptied weekly, on your day of service. Collection drivers may arrive any time between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the day of service.

Residential 3-cart service includes one curbside bulky item collection (up to five household items) per fiscal year at no additional charge*. Additional curbside bulky item collection can be requested (up to five household items) for $45 per request*.
*There is an additional $30.00 fee for items that require freon extraction (refrigerators, a/c units, etc.). There is an additional $9.00 fee for each tire less than 36 inches, an additional $30.00 fee for each tire between 36-60 inches, and an additional $200.00 fee for each tire greater than 60 inches.
Residential Utility Bill Assistance
Project Assist is the City of Oxnard’s utility rate assistance program for eligible solid waste, water, and wastewater residential utility customers. Accepted participants receive a $25.00 monthly discount.
