A Claim for Damages can be filed if you feel that you have lost money or property as a result of any action or inaction by the City.
How to Submit a Claim for Damages
Please complete the Claim for Damages form. All areas on the form that pertain to the claim should be completely filled out. You may include any attachments to support the claim, such as photographs, invoices, estimates, etc. Please note that the claim must have an original (“wet”) signature.
Once the form is completed, signed, and dated, return to the City Clerk’s Office at 300 West Third Street, 4th Floor, Oxnard, CA 93030.
Faxed or emailed copies are not accepted.
