The City of Oxnard is sponsoring FREE drop-off events for residents to dispose of their bulky items, trash and unwanted items. Oxnard residents have several opportunities on select dates throughout the year to drop off their items at our Del Norte Recycling and Transfer Station and at their neighborhood drop-off event!
Neighborhood Bulky Item Drop-Off Days | Saturdays in 2024-2025
Together with the Inter Neighborhood Council Organization (INCO), the City of Oxnard is bringing back the Neighborhood Drop-Off Days! Neighborhoods will have the opportunity to dispose of their large, bulky items for FREE at their specific event!
For information about your specific drop-off event please see the Neighborhood Drop-Off Event Calendar below or contact Environmental Resources at (805) 385-8060. Only upcoming, confirmed events are shown. If your neighborhood is not listed please check back for updates or contact your Neighborhood Council Chairperson. ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐จ! Get ready to get rid of your bulky items for FREE! The City of Oxnard invites all Oxnard residents to dispose of their bulky items, trash and unwanted items* for FREE at the Del Norte Drop-Off Day events!
These free events provide the public with a place to dispose of their waste materials to discourage and prevent illegal dumping on the roadways.
All events are from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
The City’s Del Norte Buy-Back Center is open from 9a.m. – 3p.m. Tuesday – Saturday. The Buy-Back Center accepts SOME Household Hazardous Waste materials. Please see the HHW flyer below and City website for more details.
FREE Mattress Recycling
Mattresses and box springs ARE accepted at the Del Norte Drop-Off Day events! In addition, our Del Norte Recycling and Transfer Station also accepts mattresses and box springs for FREE Monday through Saturday, during normal business hours of 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Restrictions apply. Please see the Bye Bye Mattress flyer below for more details.
Acceptable Items: Mattresses and Box Springs (must be dry)
