Commercial Container Options
Commercial businesses have the choice of a 2 or 4 yard front-load bin. Depending on waste generation, “right-sizing” your service can save you money and help keep our city streets and ally ways clean.
Food Scraps are collected in 64-gallon curbside carts and are currently serviced 3 days per week.
For Edible Food Generators (per SB 1383), donation requirements, a list of local food pantries that accept food donations, and reporting forms, can be found here.

Alternative Services – there are three possible alternative service conditions
Businesses and Multi-Family Units that choose not to use the Environmental Resources Division services and instead rely on a third-party hauler, self-haul, or back-haul their waste, must annually certify what materials are diverted from the landfill, and how they are diverted, and provide estimated diversion quantities. Furthermore, 3rd party haulers operating within the City of Oxnard city limits must also fill out this form to self-report their diversion activities.
